Welcome

Welcome

Dear EEPC members, sponsors, colleagues,

Last year’s EEPC Ethylene conference in Sitges, Spain was a great success with many thought-provoking presentations and break-out sessions, as well as extensive opportunities to network with other attendees and sponsors. There were more than 200 participants in the conference and the general feedback was that it was ‘One of the best ever!’

The Organizing Committee is determined to continue providing annual conferences that are well received by participants and sponsors. It is working to develop the program for the 2025 conference in St Julians, Malta.

This year we have chosen to have a guiding theme for each day of the conference:

  • Wednesday afternoon : “Sustainability and new technologies”
  • Thursday about “Reliability and integrity”
  • Friday on “Safety and environment”.

PROGRAM IN A NUTSHELL

The draft program is published on this website. The program will develop over the coming weeks as presentations and speakers are confirmed. Please have a look at it from time to time. It will include keynote speeches, in-depth technical presentations and, in addition, Working and Issue Groups will present their analysis and study results completed in the past year. This will inform participants on current industry trends and discussion points allowing them to act on the issues pertinent to their situation.

In 2024, the conference program included eight technical Sponsor presentations, prior to the full conference opening. These presentations were well received and provided an introduction to products and services being offered by our Sponsors and started conversations that often continued at the Sponsors’ booths during program intervals. Sessions were well received by both sponsors and attendees and have become a routine addition to our program offering. You can attend up to 4 of the 8 presentations so will be asked to select your preferences when you register.

On Thursday morning three breakout sessions will be organized by our Issue Groups, providing smaller forums for active engagement on the following topics of interest for our industry:

  • Turbo- Machinery ‘Special Repairs’,
  • 2 to be confirmed soon,
  • 3 to be confirmed soon.

Each participant can attend one session; you will find information on the registration website to support you make your selection.

We look forward to seeing you in St Julians, Malta!
