Dear EEPC members, sponsors, colleagues,

The 2023 European Ethylene Producers Committee Conference in Vilamoura was a large success with more than 200 participants attending, many interesting presentations and great opportunities to network with other attendees and sponsors. The Organizing Committee has been working since to prepare the 2024 edition of the annual conference which will take place in Sitges, Spain.

This year we have chosen to have a guiding theme for each day of the conference:

• Wednesday afternoon will be about Sustainability and new technologies.
• Thursday about reliability and integrity.
• Friday on safety and environment.

PROGRAM IN A NUTSHELL

We are now preparing an exciting program. A draft is published on this website. Please have a look at it from time to time as it gets populated with the names of the presentations and speakers in the coming weeks. It will include keynote speeches, in-depth technical presentations and further, interesting findings from the studies and analyses done by EEPC’s Working Groups and Issue Groups in the past year.

In 2023, sponsors’ sessions were organized for the first time and were very well received by both sponsors and attendees. This year, we increased the number of sponsor sessions to eight and these will take place on Wednesday morning between 09:00 am and 11:45 am. Sessions will be organized with two sessions running in parallel which will allow you to attend four of them in total.

On Thursday morning three breakout sessions will be organized to interactively exchange thoughts and discuss on following topics of interest for our industry:

• Artificial intelligence and digitalization,
• Robotics and drones and
• People; our next generation.

Each participant can attend one session; you will find information on the registration website to support you make your selection.
